I have spent a lot of quality time with a paint roller over the past few weeks. (I guess that’s what happens when you get four and a half feet of un-invited water into your home). It really is quite amazing to see how much damage four and a half feet of water can create…the basement was a complete a mess! There was a lot of work that needed to be done.

The latest project has been painting. There was a lot of prep work that had to be done first though; the walls were pretty messed up. Everything needed to be bleached to keep mold from growing, and there was a lot of paint that had peeled off that needed to be scraped off as well. There is still some work that needs to be done, but at least the painting is almost finished!
